Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake St. Clair and just a short drive from downtown Detroit’s cultural and historical districts, you will find the regal community of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. This 11 square-mile area is comprised of five individual communities: The City of Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Woods and the Village of Grosse Pointe Shores.

Upon entering Grosse Pointe, you will be greeted by canopied, tree-lined streets, immaculately groomed yards, waterfront sidewalks sprinkled with joggers, cyclists and dog walkers, convenient markets, boutique shops and eateries.

Along with the natural grace and beauty of the community, all residents are provided with a host of municipal services including: street sweeping, leaf collection, sidewalk snow removal, recycling and garbage pick-up.

Each individual city maintains its own residents-only waterfront park, complete with swimming pools, picnic tables, tennis courts, skating rinks, playground and marinas. Family-oriented activities can be found year-round, including a farmers market, home and garden tours, block parties, street festivals, art fairs, outdoor concerts, holiday parades, fun runs/walks and plenty more.

Grosse Pointe War Memorial
The Grosse Pointe War Memorial is a grand mansion previously owned by the Alger family in the early 1900′s. In 1949, the building itself was dedicated to war veterans who gave their lives in World War II and to serve as a center for charitable events and continuing education. Today, over 5,000 events are held at the War Memorial annually, including lectures, classes, trips, luncheons, art shows, recitals and plays, as well as private events such as wedding receptions and showers.

Edsel and Eleanor Ford House
Experience the gracious lifestyle of one of America’s most distinguished families at Edsel & Eleanor Ford House, an extraordinary 87-acre estate on the shores of Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. Designed in 1926 by renowned architect Albert Kahn, the house stands amid breathtaking grounds designed by landscape architect Jens Jensen. The house and grounds are open year-round to the public for tours and special events.
